A halogen free product for use in both polyether and polyester polyurethane foams. Due to its low viscosity, the product aids in the processability of high viscosity polyester polyols. Addition levels depend on required flame retardancy and foam density but typically range between 5 and 15 php. |

Fyrolflex BDP
Bisphenol A bis (diphenyl phosphate) |
An oligomeric phosphate ester designed for use as a flame retardant in engineering resin applications such as modified PPO and polycarbonate blends. BDP is very heat stable with low volatility and excellent compatibility in many resins. Typically, Fyrolflex BDP is used at 10–20 phr to provide flame retardancy to a variety of resins.

A liquid oligomeric phosphate ester flame retardant, which is designed for use in engineered resins such as modified PPO, polycarbonate/styrenic blends, polyesters and HIPS. Due to its low volatility and excellent thermal stability, it outperforms conventional monophosphates. Can be used in various polymers or polymer blends as a flame retardant or at low doses to enhance the melt flow properties of the polymers.

Tributyl phosphate |
Clear, water-white, high boiling liquid; an effective solvent used in blending of materials that are difficult to dissolve. This characteristic makes it an excellent solvent for use in graphic inks and in the preparation of concentrates for use as agricultural herbicides and fungicides. Tributyl phosphate can be used as a solvent for material gums and synthetic resins. Phosflex 4 is also very useful as a defoamer in many processes including the manufacturing of paper/pulp products and is used in solutions for rare ore extraction.

A substituted triphenyl phosphate ester made exclusively from synthetic feed stocks. Excellent flame-retarding characteristics, which are typical of the triaryls, permits back-blending with non-flame retarding plasticizers, resulting in favorable economics and wide flexibility to formulators. While used primarily in PVC formulations, Phosflex 31L and 41L finds compatibility and utility in other resin systems as well.
