At Supresta, we focus on one technology for one application: phosphorus products for fire safety. While others in our industry pursue the broad range of flame retardant technologies and chemistries, Supresta remains dedicated to our key area of expertise, building upon our existing strengths and knowledge to most successfully benefit our customers and the safety of the public. As a result, Supresta is the clear leader of the production and distribution of organophosphorus flame retardants with brand names that are internationally recognized.
We are dedicated to fire safety, and our mission and vision are clear: Phosphorus Products for Fire Safety; Operationally Excellent in Sustainable Phosphorus Products, Advocates for Fire Safety.
Supresta’s products are carefully formulated to dramatically slow the burn process, providing more time for people to escape fires and for emergency responders to arrive to the scene. Seeing is believing. Click here to see the difference our products make.
Operational excellence is a hallmark of Supresta at every level of our organization. We thoughtfully integrate our advocacy initiatives and research projects to drive the move to new, sustainable flame retardants.
Supresta was formed in July 2004, when Akzo Nobel sold its phosphorus chemicals flame retardant business to a private equity fund managed by Ripplewood Holdings L.L.C.
